One of the things I love about hospitality is that it gives people a reason to come together.

Sometimes that’s meeting friends for a drink, joining us for a quiz night or heading along to one of the events happening at your local pub. Other times, it’s something bigger. A birthday, a Christmas party, a family celebration, a wedding or simply an excuse to get everyone together in one place.

Each of our pubs has its own character and its own calendar of events, but they all play an important part in bringing their local communities together. From live music, comedy and seasonal celebrations to food nights, quizzes and special events, there is usually something going on and plenty of reasons to come back.

They’re also brilliant places to hold events of your own. Private hire is available across the group, with different spaces and options depending on the occasion. The House is a great choice for private parties, celebrations and Christmas get-togethers, while The Castle makes a beautiful setting for weddings, with its views, grounds and plenty of character. Across our pubs, our teams can help with everything from smaller gatherings and private dining to larger parties and special occasions.

For us, events are not just about filling the diary. They are part of what makes a pub feel like part of its community, giving people somewhere to meet, celebrate and make a few memories along the way.
