Celebrating 7 years of The Red Lion

Good afternoon,

I was reminded yesterday that is it 7 years since we opened the doors of the Red Lion. My initial thoughts were Christ that has gone by quick! Then you reflect a little and think wow, a lot has changed in that time.

Life is a roller coaster, isn’t it? there have been some amazing parts and of course like life, there have been some tough parts too.

As a business we have opened five more pubs since May 2019, and sold one. Freespirit events has continued to grow and grow, and now our little micro distillery and gin school has joined the mix.

Personally, I got married, had another child, moved house twice, watched our boys flourish & face fears. The roller coaster of life and pubs is ever present.Theres no straight road is their?

We have a simple saying that we use quite a lot in the business. “Celebrate the wins!”
