One of those weeks!

Do you ever have those weeks where your feet barely feel like they’ve touched the ground?

That’s certainly been mine.

It’s been a full-on stretch with early starts and late finishes and with the sunshine finally making an appearance, everything feels like it’s gone up a notch 

Behind the scenes, there’s a huge amount happening. Our events team are out delivering a four-day event, builders are in at the Coach, groundwork is underway at the Castle, and we’re busy pulling together our summer spritzer menus and brand-new wine lists. It’s all go.

I’m starting to think maybe I should film a little “day in the life” video… Everyone says they’d love to run a pub — I might be able to change a few minds! (ha)

That said, the sunshine does wonders for the mood, and long may it continue. Fingers crossed it sticks around for the weekend and into the bank holiday next week.
