Who doesn’t love a pub crawl?

December is fast approaching – a time for celebration, fun and plenty of merriment. There was one day in the last couple of weeks, in which I visited five of the sites in just one day. Now, whilst these visits were all work related; it got me thinking about a ‘Freespirit pub crawl.’ It’s never been done before, and this year seems as good a time as any to give it a try. One day, seven pubs. It’s something I have definitely toyed with in the past, but it does require some thought and planning (with a touch of spontaneity thrown in!)

Here are my thoughts: arrange a fun bus tour to go from site to site, indulge in lots of nibbles and tipples, raise some money for a local charity.

I think there are a few key things to remember when it comes to a successful pub crawl: plan the route, set a reasonable pace, stay hydrated, mix it up with some fun activities, use safe transportation, keep it flexible, be respectful and capture the moments. Afterall, who doesn’t love a bit of organised fun?
